Tom Netting, managing director of the Grand Hyatt San Antonio since it opened last year, has won the Hyatt Hotels & Resorts’ General Manager of the Year Award for large-scale hotels.
Netting, who came to San Antonio from Indian Wells, Calif., where he had been managing director of the Hyatt Grand Champions Resort and Spa, called the award an honor.
The annual competition recognizes the top Hyatt managers for properties in three size categories. That includes 115 full-service, Hyatt properties in North America, a spokeswoman said.
